MY CREATIONS IN CLAY !

I love  working with clay . for me its a huge stress buster ! the soft feel....
So I decided to join clay station and viola! I am elated with what I have created .
Every peice is unique ...has this special Reena touch in them  !

the  toothy fish !

I love this piece for its  big eyes and , a curvy moustache and a of course the tooth !
A nice mantle piece  .

the lady bird cup!

A very different piece indeed , love to have my morning coffee in it .
The ladybird perched on the rim of the cup gives it the distinct look !

the turtle and his tooth !

Looks cute with his tooth. this is something I have placed on my center table
His back is very very different has and indian motif on it !

the earthern pot!

I love the shape and the texture is zig zag created by placing   a jute cloth on it -the warp and weft of the cloth placed  on the clay gives it  the desired effect. A money plant makes it look just perfect !

the mask !

I love the etching that I have done on the mask. The mask has two distinct  colors depicting the male and female . this adorns my walls and gets complimented !:-)

the pencil stand !

This sits on my desk and gives that special . the layering and the glazing gives it a amazing feel very
earthern   authentic look !

the funny man ashtray!

I am sure u have never seen an ashtray like this ! the snaky hair strands , the eyes popping out with thick eye lashes and the curvy nose gives its funny look !

just a dish !

a shallow dish created . I have given the inside and outside two seperate colors and this striped  effect was created by adding tape before painting , the stripes were created long and short to get the desired effect !

HAPPY with MY EXPERIMENTATIONS in CLAY !!!
