MY TAKE :  The Amazing Spiderman manages to surprise its not a sequel-it is a whole New version ! . Enjoyable and deserves a MUST WATCH in 3D ! Marc Webb impresses in a style that I thought was brilliant because I liked the way he narrated a story told many times before , I also liked the twist to the tale! His characters are very well etched ,  plots and sequences very well thought out.  Being a Spider Man fan  loved the speed  and pace of the movie . Now this Spider man is more likable as a character he is so much more real  and vunerable !   The film did justice in a era of technology with the mobile ,mobile games, internet, ipads etc. Also must mention the brilliant usage of 3D especially the diving and swinging sequences  around the  sky scrappers of Manhattan.   Please do not   draw  comparision to the  Sam Raimi version because then you will lose the essence of this  film !     An extraordinary performance  by Andrew Garfield (in the role of Peter Park
An article on Dream a Little Dream and how I started it  on blog post A Biscuit called Freedom http://abiscuitcalledfreedom.org/tag/reena-chowdhury/  Let Us Dream a Little Dream  Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go. - Mother Teresa Reena, believed in Mother Teresa’s quote right from the start. Especially when she saw street children vying for attention at traffic signals. She noticed that it wasn’t always money that the  children  wanted; rather a smile or a funny face would have them burst into laughter. And there, in that moment, they would cease to be just ragamuffins on the street, their eyes speaking a thousand words, shining with laughter. Money was easy to give she realized. It was love that these children had so desperately craved for; after all they were just children. Hers is an example that defines the thin line between ordinary
“My living room is a reflection of who I am”     I guess that all houses that are ‘homes’ are reflections of the people who live in it. My living room exudes warmth and vibrancy; the scarlet red (colour theme) offsetting the cream colour of the walls; mirroring the person I am extrovert and vivacious. Lights I believe should “light up” a space and the overall impact that the play of light and colours lends to my room is a feeling of coziness and familiarity – a place that you would want to come home to. A lot of thought and care has gone into each and every object that has found its way onto my /the walls, my shelves , my corners.  I love to travel and the house is decorated with figurines and artefacts from all over India and the world. Unconventional and ethnic in style, every piece has a story to tell like the center table – which infact is a baby’s cradle, I picked up from a roadside shop in Pondicherry and now polished and embellished with a glass table top
